Dog Training and Pet Care

Do you need help with some training issues?

Perhaps you have a new puppy you would like to train and socialise or an older dog who would benefit from a little bit of training.

You may need some daytime care or walk for your companion while you are at work or some pet care while your away on holiday.

If you need help with any of the above then I can help!

Becky has been working with companion animals since 2008. In 2011, she completed a BSc (Hons) in Applied Animal Management with a keen interest in companion animal behaviour and welfare. She later completed an Advanced Diploma in Applied Animal Behaviour (Canine) with Distinction. Becky regularly attends courses in canine training and behaviour as well as attending regular workshops, seminars and conferences.

Becky is an ACE Trainer, incorporating these techniques to gain information about each dog through observations and using the ACE Free Work set up to support dogs and work on teaching skills. She is also a Puppy School tutor after completing their assessment as well as becoming a Registered Animal Training Instructor on the ABTC register. This ensures the highest possible standards with regular assessments.

More recently Becky has become a Dog Parkour Instructor and level 1 Evaluator, offering classes and workshops in this fun dog sport.

Becky is a provisional member of the APBC which means she has met the required academic qualifications and am is working towards submitting an application for full membership.

Becky is passionate about helping owners understand their dogs and be able to listen to what they are telling us. Many people will say dogs don't talk but she believes they do, we just need to learn how to listen to them. All the training methods used are kind, fair and force free with a specific approach on giving the dogs choice. When using force free, positive reinforcement training and allowing the dogs to have a choice we can build an amazing bond with them, help them enjoy their time learning with us and really understand them.
