Puppy School
Puppy School is a 6 week course for vaccinated puppies under the age of 20 weeks old. The course is fun and interactive, giving you the opportunity to train and socialise your puppy in a safe and controlled environment. The classes have a small number of puppies meaning you are able to receive the help and guidance you may need during the course but also providing your puppy with a positive experience.
The course consists of kind, positive reinforcement methods. The topics covered on the course include:
- Come when called
- Positions: Sit, Down, Stand
- Walking on a loose lead
- Accept handling
- Wait
- Settle
- Leave
- Acceptance of people around food and toys
- Socialisation with people, children and puppies
- Play biting
- Greeting people without jumping
- Puppy greetings
You will receive a pack containing a Puppy School training manual as well as vouchers, information and treats from Natures Menu. During the course you will also have access to the Puppy School online resource with plenty of training advice.
In class you will receive a pack of natures menu treats to try
On completing the course you will receive a certificate and rosette

Class times -
Thursday evenings at 7.30pm
Sunday afternoons and evenings - 3.40pm and 4.50pm
Each class lasts 1 hour

Directions:
The village hall can be found in the centre of Sampford Peverell, on the main road through the village.
Parking can be found on the road outside the hall or in the carpark on the opposite side of the road
